About Quality Education & Development Ltd
Quality Education & Development (QED) was set up by Julia Miles and has been in operation since 1988. Julia had extensive experience in training and development working for other organisations when she decided to set up QED to provide high quality and responsive services to individuals and organisations almost 20 years ago.
QED provides a wide range of training, consultancy, coaching and assessment services to businesses across the UK and is an accredited qualification centre with both City & Guilds and the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM).
QED has experience of working in all sectors - private, public and voluntary. Because of our long history we have an excellent understanding of the issues, challenges and continuous change faced by our clients. We provide services tailored to suit their unique needs and are always happy to offer an initial no obligation consultation meeting to establish the best way forward.
In addition to working with large and medium sized organisations we have a commitment to working with SMEs and micro businesses, either through our programmes or through one-to-one coaching with key individuals within the organisation.
QED is made up of a team of professional trainers, coaches, consultants and assessors who deliver high quality services. We also have a successful partnership with our online learning partners Akamas Ltd who provide the technical support for our online learning programmes.
Over our 20 year history some of our successes have been: -
- Becoming the first organisation in the south of the England to be approved to deliver ILM coaching awards
- Delivering a two-year business coaching programme in London for over 100 SMEs wishing to grow their businesses for which we secured European Funding
- Setting up the first City & Guilds qualification centre in the USA for the Georgia Academy
- Helping SAVA become the first approved centre for the ABBE Diploma in Home Inspection
- Developing an online learning programme for ILM qualifications in Coaching & Mentoring validated by them as an ILM approved product
- Being the first provider of online learning for those working in the property sector with Home Information Packs.
