ILM Qualifications in Coaching & Mentoring
More and more organisations are recognising the importance of developing coaching skills in their managers as an essential part of the business success strategy. These ILM awards offer a thorough programme of development and assessment leading to a nationally recognised qualification.
ILM has recently unitised these qualifications to fit into the national framework. There are THREE levels of qualification aimed at different client groups. Each qualification contains units in both theory and practice.
Level 3 Award & Certificate in Coaching for Team Leaders/1st Line Managers
Level 5 Certificate & Diploma in Management Coaching & Mentoring
Level 7 Certificate & Diploma in Leadership Mentoring & Executive Coaching
The Programme
Candidates follow a programme of agreed learning, development and assessment that allows them to successfully achieve their award. The programmes contain the following activities:
- Induction and Learning Materials
- A set number of hours of structured group learning
- Tutorials and development activities
- Assessment testing both knowledge and skills.
Prices start at £1175 + VAT per head for Level 3 and £1495 + VAT per head for Level 5 fully taught Programmes.
Blended Learning Option
QED Ltd is the first UK ILM Centre to offer a blended learning package for Level 5 Certificate and Diploma in Coaching and Mentoring. This provides for more flexibility for both individual candidates and employers looking for a more cost-effective option to accreditation for their staff. Our clients now have the choice of a blended learning option or a fully taught option.
Our blended learning programme includes some classroom learning (3 days - less than the fully taught option) and uses our ILM validated online knowledge base module. This knowledge base module is accessible 24/7 via the web and covers the ILM syllabus providing information and a range of tasks which consolidate learning and build knowledge for assessment purposes.
In addition to the above all our candidates receive course materials, tutorials, coaching supervision and support during assessment.
The advantages of the blended option are flexibility and affordability. Candidates are away from their workplace for less time yet still have access to the same quality learning provision. All ILM requirements are covered and, now that our programme has been validated by ILM, we also offer this online resource to other approved ILM centres.
